24 hours at a remote lake

A friend and I headed out to a remote lake on the west side of Vancouver Island for a night this past week. As is common this time of year the sun was coming ang going with fog wandering through the mountains from the Pacific ocean. A long hike into some of the largest trees in Canada also provided for interesting photography. As a bonus we also were abgle to procure chantrelle and chicken of the woods mushrooms… what a treat.
