A very strange assignment

June 6, 2000 – This is the first day in the 36 days since I started the Photo of the Day series where not much came up of any interest. There were photos of Lotus Europa parts in 2018, 2019 and 2020. I shot 33 photographs in Pittsburgh in 2014 but there wasn’t much to get excited about. Then we have this image of garbage. It is one of the earliest digital photos I shot way back in 2000. That’s exactly 25 years ago near the beginning of the digital camera era. It also must have been one of the strangest assignments I’ve ever shot. Who would think that photographing someone’s mess would help pay the bills.
