St. Paul’s Church

March 26, 2010 – St. Paul’s Church was built primarily by Kanakas and was consecrated in 1885. It was once the center of social life for the local Hawaiian (Kanaka) settlers. The graves of the Hawaiians are adorned with shell beads. Salt Spring Island, British Columbia
